NET Retreat

Grade 7 & 8 NET Retreat

The NET Retreat for NC 7th and 8th Graders is held annually. Please stay tuned for information about our 2019-2020 NET Retreat!

ABOUT OUR RETREAT:

The NET teams will share their love of Christ and the Church with over 90,000 youth across the country. NET Ministries send over 180 young adults throughout the United States in groups of 8-14, to proclaim the Gospel to the Catholic youth of America.

The goals of every NET Retreat are to help young people understand God’s love for them, to offer faith of the team members as a witness to the youth that faith in God is a desirable, acceptable, and exciting part of their lives, and to encourage young people to grow in their commitment to Jesus Christ and His Church.

Nashua Catholic has hosted NET several retreats and they are very well- received by our students. Members of the NET team vary in age and, because of their own youthful experiences, develop strong connections with our students. The 7th and 8th graders each have their own day with the team. These days include fun and engaging activities focused on growing closer to the Catholic faith, as well as programs meant to encourage our students to be more open with their faith.

ABOUT THE NET TEAM:

The NET team is a group of young adults who have set aside time in their lives to work in this ministry and share their faith. These young adults range from ages 18 to 23 years old and come to us from 9 different states: Wisconsin, California, Missouri, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Texas, Michigan, and Illinois.

Interested in becoming a host family for our next group of NET Retreat team members? We are always looking for a few families to sign up to host our extraordinary guests!  If you are interested, please contact Mrs. Sue Coker at scoker@ncrjhs.net for more information on becoming a host family!
