Extra-curricular Activities and Clubs

At Nashua Catholic, learning does not begin and end in the classroom. We offer a variety of extra-curricuar activities that occur during the course of the year. Here are a few examples of the activities that students can become involved with!

Afterschool Dances

Dances are sponsored by student council and are held on select Fridays from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Only Nashua Catholic students are permitted to attend these dances. Dances are typically in the cafeteria, and students may only enter and exit using those doors. Parents looking to pick up their child before the end of the dance must provide a written note. Appropriate out-of-uniform attire is required.

Dances will be held on October 26, and December 7.

Students may audition for on stage parts or volunteer to be a member of the stage/production crew. The dates of the performances are on the NCRJHS school calendar. Auditions will be announced well in advance.

Ski Club

Coordinator: Ryan Farris

ski-club

The Nashua Catholic ski club is an after school activity open to all students. On Friday nights the club travels to Bennington, NH to ski and ride at Crotched Mountain. With discounted rates, skiers and riders can learn the basics through lessons, or go up and enjoy a few hours of open skiing.

Transportation to and from the mountain is provided. The bus will leave from outside the Nashua Catholic cafeteria at 2:30pm. After a couple of hours on the slopes, students will arrive back to Nashua Catholic at approximately 9pm

Yearbook

Students will also be able to work on the yearbook at home, as they will have their own individual sign-in to the web-based system used to create the yearbook.
Please contact Mrs. Skinner with questions.  If I’m given your student’s name and school email, I can setup a Pictavo account.
The club will be fun, and we will using our creativity to explore the world of graphic design!
Parents who have photos of student events, please share them with me on Google at dklayton@ncrjhs.net
The more photos, the better!  Please send as many as you can.
