SPRING OPEN HOUSE at Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School EXPLORE the POSSIBILITIES! Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School admissions process, though focused on an October through February calendar, is open all year on a space-available basis. The first step, applications and parent/student interviews, can be obtained by calling our office. We will start October 1, 2009 arranging interviews for the 2010-2011 school year. Parents of students from Infant Jesus Elementary School, St. Christopher Elementary School, and current siblings with good academic and conduct standing may waive the opportunity to interview. Admissions Process - Important Dates
Tuition and Financial Aid 2010-2011 Tuition - $ Supported Tuition - $ Tuition Tuition at Nashua Catholic includes fees generally separated out, such as, lab fee, activities fee, and athletic fee. The student yearbook, agenda and graduation costs including gown and flowers are part of the tuition. Textbooks and uniforms are parent responsibility and help nurture ownership in each student. Financial Aid Nashua Catholic Regional Junior High School offers two assistance programs, Parish Support and NC Financial Aid. Parish Support Forms are mailed with acceptance letters in the beginning of February. The form needs to be signed by your parish priest and returned to Nashua Catholic NO LATER than March 1, 2010 for consideration at the Diocesan level. Only the Diocese of Manchester Catholics who meet the following parish criteria shall be eligible for the sponsorship rate. The criteria, at minimum, should include: * Registration in parish or mission * Contributor of record in parish or mission * Active participation in the life of parish or mission
Nashua Catholic uses the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Program to help evaluate a family's ability to contribute toward their child's education. With the help of FACTS, Nashua Catholic makes the fairest possible determination regarding the level of assistance it can offer. The process involves balancing individual family need, the number of families applying and the total available aid. You may apply on-line at www.factstuitionaid.com . 2009-2010 Events Step-up Day - Our thanks to all who make the 2010 Step-up Day a fun and productive beginning at Nashua Catholic. Our first group of acceptance letters has been mailed. There is still time to enter our admissions process and make the required deadlines, particularly for financial aid. Please call today.
About Step-up Day Each year there is a very special day set aside for our 6th grade applicants. This school year, Step-up Day was planned for Friday, January 22, 2010. This day is dedicated to giving 6th graders a detailed overview of Nashua Catholic. They have a mini schedule to follow, presentations on sports and activities and, of course, lunch with plenty of social time to get to know each other. Sign-up was a must for this event. Forms available through the Admissions Office.
5th Grade Open House - Nashua Catholic will host current 5th grade students and their parents on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 6:30 to 8pm at 6 Bartlett Avenue. Families will be able to enjoy department displays from Nashua Catholic and 6th Grade curriculum displays from Infant Jesus School and St. Christopher School, as well as, take tours. Faculty and staff will be on hand from all three schools to answer questions.

6th Grade Open House - Nashua Catholic will host our first Open House Night for current 6th grade students and their parents on Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 6 to 8pm. The program starts in the gym located immediately inside the doors at 6 Bartlett Avenue. After a short welcome and overview, families will be able to check out department displays and take tours of the school. Most of our faculty and staff will be on hand to answer questions. Applications and Step-up Day forms will be available and you will be able to make interview appointments during this evening.
