Grace O’Malley has been named the 2017-18 Nashua Catholic Female Athlete of the Year by Athletic Director, Mr. Ryan Farris at the recent Spring Sports Awards Ceremony.
A three-season athlete for the Wildcats, Grace was a leader and key contributor for our girls soccer, cheerleading, and track and field teams this year. On the pitch this fall, Grace was an integral part of the Tri-County Division 4 Girls Soccer Championship team. A goal scorer, a great passer, and energetic defender, Grace was flying all over the field to make plays. During the Winter season, she was named a captain of the cheerleading team. One of the biggest tumblers on the team, and an experienced flyer, Grace made sure that she also led by example, and pushed her teammates to be better. This Spring Grace was a top runner in the women’s 100m hurdles, placing 3rd in the division. Always showing up to practice ready to work, and be better than the day before, she was and is a great role model for the younger runners on the team.
A very well-deserving young lady, we would like to congratulate Grace O’Malley on all of her accomplishments throughout the year! Congratulations Grace!
