Track Gearing Up for Tri-County Meet

It has been a very busy Spring for our track and field athletes as they have competed in a number of big meets to this point. With these prior meets under their belts, and plenty of practices to work on their skills, the NC track and field team is ready to compete at the Tri-County Championships! A big benefit this year is that the Wildcats will no longer have to deal with a long afternoon including travel out to Rundlett Middle School in Concord, NH, because the meet has been moved to a Saturday morning here in Nashua!

On Saturday, June 2, our Wildcat runners, throwers, and jumpers will grace the grounds of Nashua High School South as they compete in their respective events for a Tri-County Championship! With a number of extremely promising athletes, Nashua Catholic is looking like a favorite in multiple events! “I am extremely impressed with the work ethic of our team this season” said head coach Theresa Andolina when asked about the upcoming meet. “We have a number of boys and girls who have experience, and who have been working hard on their own to improve on their skills” said Andolina.

Track and field athletes will be looking to place in the Top 6 of their respective events in order to qualify themselves for the NH Middle School Meet of Champions the following week at Milford High School in Milford, NH.

Go Wildcats!
