Winter Sports Awards

The Winter athletic season has come to a close, and what a season it was! Several of our Nashua Catholic wrestlers competed, and placed well in a number of tournaments, including three members who won the Tri-County Championship in their respective weight classes. The cheerleading team had a young group of girls come out this year, but with hard work and determination, the team came together for a few quality finishes.

Boys and girls JV basketball teams had great season where the teams improved drastically throughout the process. Both teams consisted of a majority of 7th graders, who all got great experience at the middle school level. Boys and girls varsity basketball both went on to win the 2018 NHCYO Basketball Championship in early February and re now moving forward to represent New Hampshire at the New England Regional CYO Tournament in Waterbury, CT.

We recently held our Winter Sports Awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 27. Students, parents, and coaches all gathered in the gym to recognize the outstanding athletes and their team performances. Thank you to all who made it to the ceremony, and thank you for your continued support of Nashua Catholic!
