NC Runners Finish Strong at Manchester Invitational

Last Thursday our Wildcat cross country team traveled to Derryfield Park in Manchester, NH for the Annual Manchester Middle School Invitational. This race is one of the tougest courses that our runners will face all season long. With many hills, hundreds of runners, and uneven terrain, this race proves to be a great tester for our team.

Out of the 508 runners in the boys division, Nashua Catholic had 8 finishers within the top 150! Top finishers include Bobby Canaway (16th), Nicholas Dahl (37th), Ryan Wallat (107th), Peter Wilson (124th), Chris Prangley (125th), Trevor Labrecque (130th), Chris Kenosian (147th), and Sam Kouchalakos (150th).

In the girls race there were a total of 345 runners, and 8th grader Julia Gadbois finished inside of the top 200! Due to illnesses on the team, Nashua Catholic did not enter enough girls to compete as a team, so runners ran for individual scores.
