Nashua Catholic boys basketball defeated PMA 54-9 in the finals of the 7/8th grade boys bracket. With solid team play, our Wildcats were able to win big over the Griffins.

In front of a big crowd here at Nashua Catholic, the boys were able to quickly silence the crowd as they pushed the floor and moved the ball around to get open shots. This win adds another state championship to the resume of long time coach Paul Williams. “The boys played hard, and we were able to execute on our game plan. We were moving the ball around, and not settling for bad shots, and playing tough defense on the other end. It is a great accomplishment to get deep in the tournament, and I’m happy we came out on top this year.”

Nashua Catholic reached the finals last year, but were defeated by a strong St. John’s team out of Concord, NH. This win qualifies the team for the New England Regional Tournament in Bridgeport, CT.
